HIDDEN NY is delivering a “mixtape” ASICS GT-2160 before launching its album-equivalent-GEL-NYC next year.
Unveiled to the world with the help of Colombian artist Feid, HIDDEN’s first official collaboration with the Japanese sportswear brand favors a silver and green color scheme. By contrast, the precursor to 2024’s launch opts for a much more vibrant “Crystal Pine” color scheme, a look achieved by hand with the help of JW Customs. Each pair of the custom GT-2160, then, delivers a unique finish. The collaborators haven’t disclosed what style of ASICS‘ retro, budget-friendly running model was used for the project, but mesh bases are left to a predominantly-“White” look. Synthetic panels on the tongue and around the heel inject “Black” contrast into the mix, while HIDDEN branding arrives in the form of a small “h” on each left pair’s vamp, text on the lateral forefoot, and custom-made “Pine Green” tabs on the lateral heel. The sneakers arrive alongside HIDDEN x ASICS apparel.
Enjoy a closer look at the pair ahead. Product will be available via hiddenppf.com tomorrow, December 13th, at 12pm EST (early access) and 3pm EST (general release). The GT-2160 is expected to retail for $195 USD.
