Andrew Rizzo Action Bronson is a cultural maverick among men, and for our purposes, he’s also one of the hottest topics in the sneaker industry. Following the release of three highly anticipated New Balance 1906R collaborations earlier this year, the Queens native just teased what’s next on his Instagram story; another take on the New Balance 990v6.
Importantly, this isn’t the only upcoming Action Bronson New Balance shoe making rounds online. Action will also demonstrate his love for fitness through Minimus Trail and FuelCell Rebel v4 projects, although those two shoes as well as the newly teased 990v6 don’t have specific release dates yet.
Steering focus back to the shoe at hand, Action’s upcoming 990v6 features bright red, pink, and blue accents atop a white mesh base and pre-yellowed sole. To the uninformed; the New Balance 990v6 was the subject of Action’s first ever New Balance collaboration last year. As with that capsule and every subsequent Action Bronson shoe to date, this latest effort most definitely comes with a story tied to his life and interests. Unfortunately, it will take some time for those details to come to light as Action writes “2025” over the image.
