Mens adidas Fear Of God Athletics Trainer
The next Fear Of God Athletics shoe by Jerry Lorenzo and adidas has emerged via official images. After rolling out the II Basketball in late 2024, the duo is dipping into the athleisure genre with the Fear Of God Athletics Trainer in Summer 2025.
To clarify; the FOG Athletics Trainer is not intended for playing basketball. While it’s height and midsole are comparable to the Basketball II, the first court-worthy adidas x FOG basketball model by the hands of the West Coast streetwear maven (the I Basketball was a flop), the Athletics Trainer looks to be touted for gym activities and lifestyle wear. Images of a similar-looking sample made rounds online all the way back in March of 2023, with Lorenzo later confirming that it’s not a hoops shoe.
The shape of the heel takes after chukka boots, landing in “Night Brown” suede, while the toe box features “Sesame” suede with curved stitching. A nylon strap and pull rope laces enhance foot containment, and while it might not serve any functional purpose, the design also includes a piece of patterned mesh fabric over the heel section of the midsole.
