Sneaker News Off the heels of debuting his latest adidas Gazelle Indoor colorway on an exclusive spread with Vogue Mexico, Bad Bunny has once again stolen to sneaker headlines by premiering a brand new adidas sneaker in his recently launched music video from BOKeTE, a track off his DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS album.
The shoes appear in quick flashes throughout the video, but we were able to capture a few decent still that paint a decent-enough picture…for now. This is indeed a brand new sneaker under the Bad Bunny umbrella.
At first glance, the mid/high top sneaker has a bit of a basketball heritage flair, with elements of adidas EQT DNA evident through the non-conventional application of the stripes. Shunning the classic bold striping, Bad Bunny and adidas have applied the trademark via a mid-foot wing-like piece that acts as a lace lockdown system. No other details have been revealed, but given Bad Bunny’s busy schedule this Summer, it’s possible that adidas has scheduled a launch to coincide with those cultural events. He’ll be hosting a summer-long residency in Puerto Rico, promising his home land with live shows on a regular basis, so it’s possible that a release of this yet-to-be-named sneaker is launching in the coming months.
