You get a shoe, you get a shoe, everybody gets a shoe! Hot on the heels of the New Balance 2011, co-designed by Ronnie Fieg in celebration of Kith’s 15th anniversary, Action Bronson has taken to Instagram with our first up-close look at the New Balance 2811, his debut signature sneaker with the Boston brand.
After years of hyped launches, including a few sneaker of the year candidates, Mr. Baklava has graduated to a tier we seldom see reached by non-athletes in the footwear world. Action was spotted wearing the New Balance 2811 courtside at Madison Square Garden throughout the New York Knicks’ NBA Finals run, though grainy shots from celebrity row left little to actually dissect. His Instagram announcement peels back the curtain just slightly, revealing stitched “Baklava” text on the tongue and TPU detailing that forms a V shape over the toe. We know from past looks that the model carries the same ABZORB-cushioned sole unit as the New Balance 2010, though the upper remains largely unexplored as of this writing.
Action Bronson’s New Balance 2811 doesn’t have a release date yet, but a Fall/Winter 2026 drop seems likely given the timing of his Instagram announcement. See detailed pics below and stay tuned for more.
