Hiroshi Fujiwara Reveals Another Fragment Design x Nike Book 2

Is there another chapter to this collab?

Hiroshi Fujiwara Reveals Another Fragment Design x Nike Book 2

Hiroshi Fujiwara has a habit of showing off sneakers that may never see the light of day, and his latest reveal gives us a look at a previously unseen Fragment Design x Nike Book 2 that could see a future release.

Following the black-based colorway of the Fragment Nike Book 2 released earlier this year, Fujiwara has surfaced a considerably lighter take on Devin Booker’s second signature shoe. The new version combines a white and light tan upper with pink Swoosh logos, flipping the darker appearance of its predecessor; he actually posted a photo of this exact pair nearly two months ago, but the newly-posted clearer shot gives us a better of idea of exactly what was on his feet.

Otherwise, the formula appears virtually unchanged. Fragment’s famously restrained approach carries over to the clean color-blocking, while black text across the midsole once again reads “The Classic: BOOK 2: Fragment,” matching the typography and placement seen on the original collaboration.

Whether this second colorway will actually make it to retail remains to be seen because Fujiwara regularly uses his Instagram feed to showcase samples, alternate colorways, and unreleased projects from Fragment’s extensive catalog, meaning an appearance on his feet or his feed is hardly confirmation of an eventual launch.

For now, consider this simply a look at what could be next for Fragment and the Nike Book 2. If you’re locked into confirmed releases, peep the upcoming Book 2 “Detroit Lions”, or even his upcoming hard-cover print with Rizzoli.
