Andrew Rizzo Japanese skate phenom Yuto Horigome is shaping up to be one of the key faces of the Nike SB Air Force 1. Joining a number of “Color of the Month”-style collaborations from skate shops in the release pipeline are two editions by the Nike SB rider, including a grey pair for Holiday 2026 and this newly unveiled “Laser” edition rumored to be limited to just 1,000 pairs.
Part of a broader wave of new “Laser” releases that includes an Air Jordan 3, Air Jordan 1 Low OG, and Sportswear Air Force 1, Yuto’s latest Nike SB Air Force 1 earns its nickname from the intricate laser-etched graphics covering the forefoot and heel, consisting of cherry blossom callouts and other florals.
Horigome’s lucky number seven is embroidered onto the left backtab in Old English typography, while “Yuto” replaces “Air” on the midsole. The tongue also receives a custom update with Japanese characters, complemented by special insoles and custom metal lace dubraes finished with rope-like borders. Nubuck and mesh return as the preferred material combination from Yuto’s other Nike SB Air Force 1, while the color blocking keeps things relatively traditional in a white and red.
Yuto Horigome’s Nike SB Air Force 1 “Laser” does not have a confirmed release date yet, but all indications point toward a late 2026 or early 2027 launch. As mentioned, the pair is expected to be limited to just 1,000 units.
