John Kim Jerry Lorenzo’s first Nike collaboration has been revealed as part of the short film that debuts his upcoming Sixth Collection. The silhouette is entirely new, grabbing his “sneaker boot” aesthetic and implementing some key elements of the Nike Air 180 and even the Presto, but the high-top boot/sneaker is certainly more Jerry than it is Swoosh. Tentatively named the “Air Fear Of God 1”, this new model features minimal Nike branding on the upper and the heel, while the upper – a bootie with an exterior cage overlay – suggest hints of a basketball shoe.
With Nike going all in on fashion collaborations this season, Jerry Lorenzo’s Fear Of God imprint is just the latest in a slew of upcoming releases that include partnerships with Public School NY, ACRONYM, UNDERCOVER, COMME des Garcons, and much more.
