With the second week of October now in the books, we look back at all the action that took place in the crazy world of sneakers. Jordan Brand and Nike surely won the week this time as fans were treated to sneak peeks of upcoming retro colorways of the Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 5, unexpected collaborations with Youtube and FORTY PERCENT AGAINST RIGHTS, and even Japanese exclusive Air Force 1s. Other Swoosh headlines arrived via Paul George and NASA continuing their collaborative efforts with a new space-themed PG3, as well as getting a closer look at the upcoming Nike CruzR One designed by none-other-than Tinker Hatfield. And as always, Kanye West finds a way to make some noise, and this week it arrived through updated information stating that the model previously known as the “Yeezy Boost 350 v3” will now see a numerical modification and now be titled the “Yeezy Boost 380”. In addition, Star Wars and adidas look continue to build excitement around “The Rise of Skywalker” teasing a new R2D2-themed Ultra Boost, and Allen Iverson packages two of his original colorways into a brand new iteration of the Reebok Question. For all that and much more, check out our top thirteen headlines from October 4th to October 11th here below.
