Since launching January 2020, the adidas 4D Run 1.0 has been bringing the once ultra-limited, 3D-printed cushioning to more of the masses. And while adidas‘ 4D technology is still far from Boost‘s popularity, the 4D Run 1.0‘s latest is sure to bring notable attention to the data-driven innovation.
A mix between previously-surfaced homages to the Superstar and elevated takes courtesy of Y-3, uppers on the newest 4D Run opt into a monochromatic composition. Reinforcement at high-wear zones – forefoot, heel and lace guards – boast “Core Black” arrangements. Their textile underlays feature a lighter shade contrasted by “Cloud White” profile 3-Stripes and a stabilizing heel clip. Interrupting the yin-and-yang palette, adidas branding on the tongue and lateral heel revel in a luxe “Gold Metallic.” Down below, 3D-printed cushioning and traction are clad in black.

Away from its modern-day runners, adidas has released the ZX 8000, an icon from the late 1980s, in an impressive “Collegiate Green” colorway.
