Jovani Hernandez The Nike Air Max 97 isn’t celebrating a milestone anniversary like other silhouettes under the NIKE, Inc. umbrella, but it’s emerged in dozens of impressive colorways throughout 2020. And while still rumored to don three more collaborative makeups by Undefeated come the holiday season, the Christian Tresser-designed silhouette adds a trail-inspired outfit to its growing general release roster.
Unlike its inclusion in the Nike Worldwide Pack, this Air Max 97 features an array of vibrant colors across its vamp overlays. Rich blue joins black, orange, and yellow to create an eye-catching medley of accents atop an egg-white mudguard. Sole units also indulge in the understated given their “Sail” and “Black” makeup, but the latter is accompanied by mint and orange details. Nike ACG-like laces round out this colorful Air Max option.
An official release date is still unknown, but this Air Max 97 is likely to quietly arrive to Nike.com in the coming weeks for $170 USD. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the pair here below.
