Michael Le The adidas Superstar is typically at its best when it’s the most simple. And this upcoming scheme, which was revealed by way of the brand’s Japanese arm, follows that to a close T, only dressing up the silhouette’s stripes and accompanying overlays.
Everything else from the signature shell toe to the leather construction is hued in white much like the Superstar’s many iconic OGs. The laces as well as the tongue and midsole follow suit, while the panels over top begin to contrast in a water color replete with shades both blue and purple. These tones come together in a fashion almost iridescent and visually similar to the shells of abalone.
