Michael Le March 17th marks the arrival of Bad Bunny‘s first-ever collaboration with adidas: the Forum Buckle Low. Positioned to be long-term, this partnership is but an introduction to the inimitable artist’s taste, playing off both his reputation as a style icon and his personal love for sneakers.
“I have always loved sneakers since I was a kid. They were the essential detail of the style I wanted and the look I wanted to have depending on what I was going to do that day,” Bad Bunny mentions. “It feels amazing knowing that my next steps will be in my own sneakers.”
The upcoming Bad Bunny x adidas Forum Buckle Low borrows heavily from its talent’s perspective. Entitled “The First Café,” the colorway draws inspiration from a cup of coffee, while employing many of the court sneaker’s signature details. The premium leather and similarly high quality suede dress throughout in a mocha-like coloring, the browns darkening as they hit the counter overlay and the strap that ends in a metallic, technical fastener. Elsewhere, the pair also features a removable second tongue, an additional lace lock at the heel, and hidden “YO VISTO ASI” lyrics along the strap’s velcro.
