The New Balance XC-72 hasn’t garnered the immediate attention of Casablanca’s first collaboration with the Boston-based brand, but that hasn’t stopped the silhouette from building a healthy roster. For its latest entry, the race car-inspired silhouette has indulged in a predominantly off-white colorway courtesy of Charaf Tajer.
Low-cut in shape, the newly-surfaced pair indulges in high-quality perforated leather bases overlaid with pig suede. Both components don “colorless” makeups that allow both the sneaker’s design and few hits of color to revel in the spotlight. Synonymous with Casablanca’s New Balance past collaborations, orange and green flair animates branding on the top of the tongue and heel. Lastly, the trail-informed outsole blends into its immediate muted surroundings, although it makes a statement via it’s varying tread propositions.
Enjoy images of the pair here below, and anticipate select shops to release their stock on December 11th.
Elsewhere, the Boston-based brand is set to release the New Balance 990v6 in 2022.
