The Nike Air Max 90 has maintained relevance within the brand’s lineup of products since debuting 31 years ago. Yet, its availability has seemingly increased in the last three years, with “Air Sprung” and other thematic offerings becoming much more common.
Already boasting other Air Max silhouettes and pairs of the Air Force 1, the spring-ready collection has applied a “Sesame/Rush Pink/Coconut Milk/Phantom” colorway to the 1990-design from Tinker Hatfield. Durable canvas works in-tandem with tumbled leather and linen overlays throughout the upper to deliver a breathable and lightweight sneaker. Sole units underfoot also proved tried-and-proven comfort, while the aforementioned tones offer an arrangement that strays away from the overused pastels typically found on footwear for the warmer months of the year. “air sprung” text replaces “air max”-branding at the mudguards, while mushroom patches replace “NIKE AIR” logos at the spine. Lastly, the swoosh-wheel graphic on the right shoe’s sock-liner reveals the shoes’ partly-recycled construction.
Enjoy official images of the sneakers here below, and anticipate a Nike.com launch in the first-half of the new year.
Elsewhere under the NIKE, Inc. banner, the Air Jordan 4 is poised to have a highly-visible 2022.
