Though unveiled back in April, it wasn’t until June that the Air Force 1 “Mama” was officially released. And as official images of the pack’s Air Max 90 have just surfaced, it’s likely we won’t be seeing this pair hit shelves for some time.
Besides a few details, the Air Max 90 “Mama” is quite a bit different from its Bruce Kilgore-designed counterpart. The colorway, for starters, is almost entirely distinct: while the palette may feature white along the base, laces, and midsole, the rest of the shoe is rendered in various shades of cream. Additionally, pops of blue highlight the adjacent branding, from the “Air Max” hit across the side to the “Nike Air” along the heel. Even the charm present along the Air Force 1 have been slightly tweaked, opting for silver hardware and “MAMA” text instead of “MINI.”
