First teased back in March — weeks before the release of the “Baklava” — the Action Bronson x New Balance 990v6 “Lapis Lazuli” is finally releasing at the end of the month. And it won’t be doing so by its lonesome, as Mr. Baklava himself has revealed that the shoes will be dropping alongside a full kit of apparel.

Action Bronson’s collaboration with New Balance has been several months in the making, unveiled first in the ring of All Elite Wrestling back in 2022. Now, the chef-turned-rapper is gearing up for the release of his second 990v6: the “Lapis Lazuli.” The colorway is a slight departure from its predecessor, forgoing bright neons for a more muted palette. Various cool tones are used across the suede and leather trims, while silver metallic finishes dress the “N” logo as well as the paneling around the collar. Cream midsoles then round out the pair alongside pops of purple, sky blue accents, and rope laces similar to what you’d find on a set of boots.
