New Mesh Fabrics Helps The New Balance 1906R Get More Breathable For Summer

New Balance has released so many grey New Balance 1906R colorways that it’s often challenging to distinguish one from another, but when examined up close, you’ll find that each pair comes complete with its own unique defining hallmarks.

Hot off the release of a new “Grey Day” 1906R in mid-May, the Boston brand’s latest classically colored pair is best defined by its base layer. Several cream-colored mesh fabrics make up a unique tapestry, delivering a range of diverse patterns while producing a somewhat gauze-like look and feel. It comes as a welcome injection of uniqueness given the familiar nature of what comes next, with metallic silver and grey leather overlays informing the rest of the design.

Pairs are already available overseas, so expect a stateside drop to follow in the near future. Enjoy official images below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page for updates over the coming weeks.

Pivoting to another hot New Balance silhouette, check out the latest New Balance 550 colorways.
