The New Balance 2010 Digs Into “Dark Olivine”

Nearly half a year into its journey, we feel comfortable saying the New Balance 2010 fits right in. Steeped and coated in the fan-favorite 99x design language that helped propel the Boston brand to its current resurgence, the model’s layered composition has afforded it the chance to get a bit more experimental with its color combinations than its peers and predecessors.

The “Dark Olivine” New Balance 2010 is another example of exactly that. At first glance, the neutral shades utilized for this pair don’t register as anything too groundbreaking; natural tones of light brown, olive, and blue combine with darkened grey and black anchoring in the spaces between. The color-blocking on display is where Boston designers are really pushing the envelope, managing to create a a cohesive profile despite the sheer number of color codes utilized on this pair.

The New Balance 2010 “Dark Olivine” hits NewBalance.com on November 5th, retailing for $160. Keep our “Where To Buy” widget close by for direct pick-up links upon arrival.
