Some shoes are always worth stopping the presses for.
Even in a somewhat depressed market for the Air Jordan 1, that’s exactly what the “Royal” release this week has us doing, as special packaging that reaches back to an OG photoshoot and increased materiality makes this that the Air Jordan historians won’t want to miss out on. Further down the billing, it’s a somewhat collab heavy week; another drop for the Amine x New Balance 992, the Vans x Dodgers partnership comes to two new models, and adidas x Brain Dead hits the bowling alley.
Catch day-by-day photo breakdowns below for everything this week has in store. You’ll find blurbs below them with hyperlinks for each drop; our articles they lead to are where you’ll find “Where To Buy” sections for drop day. As we always do, we’ll update the list below with any late-breaking additions, but keep an eye on our Jordan Release Dates and Sneaker Release Dates pages to make doubly sure that nothing falls through the cracks.

October 5th follows up a sell-out event in the original Bakin with the Nike Air Bakin “Varsity Royal,” a palette swap of that suddenly coveted style. The Nike Kobe 10 “5 AM Flight” follows, another notch in what’s been a busy year for the Protro series.

October 6th lets loose an eye-catching crossover in the adidas Samba Climbing, bringing Three Stripes legacy to the wall. Caitlin may have taken up many of the headlines recently, but don’t count out the Nike Sabrina 4 “Light Work” for some flashy hoops wear.

October 7th goes below street level with the Nike Air Force 1 ’01 “Subway Rat,” bringing together two NY icons of varying public opinion.

October 8th stars the “Pearlized” movement anew in a spring to the end of the year; the Vans Old Skool Pearlized White kicks things off. From there, it’s two collabs: the PUMA Speedcat Rose in the BLACKPINK member’s second Big Cat collab, and the Brain Dead adidas Samba Bowling, bringing a new vertical into their eccentric partnership.

October 9th has the Nike Ja 4 “Radar” in store, flexing some printed range for Morant’s latest. The Nike Griffey Max 1 “Cincinatti Reds” arrives just on time, bringing some diamond-ready footwear as the MLB postseason heats up. Speaking of, the LA Dodgers Vans have already attracted a ton of attention, merging West Coast history and the skate brand’s own hallmarks. We close in Boston with the Amine New Balance 992, dropping wide for those who missed out on Amine’s website drop, and the New Balance 983 Red, another glossy stunner from the burgeoning silhouette.

October 10th is a doozy; the Air Jordan 1 “Royal” arrives with a serious material uptick in another celebration of the OG black and blue.
