BEAMS Injects Asymmetry To A Greyscale New Balance 990v5

BEAMS Injects Asymmetry To A Greyscale New Balance 990v5

As part of Nordstrom’s new concept shop, BEAMS was invited on to bring Japanese tastes over to a much larger stateside audience, revealing quite a few looks from their own in-house brand while going as far to introduce slightly more obscure pieces from Sasquatchfabrix, Orslow, and the like. Among these, footwear staples from their collaborative take with New Balance have been unveiled, showing off an asymmetric 990v5 in the same vein as Engineered Garment’s released only a few months ago. These, however, come into their own with a reinterpretation of heritage neutrals, favoring all sorts of grey shades throughout with materials of a standard suede versus the aforementioned’s animal textures. The only big changes are at the underlying mesh components whose textures swap between a bright white and an extremely darkened variation, continuing this trend all the way to the tongue and onward. Grab a detailed look at the pair right here and find it available now on Nordstrom.com for a retail of $255.
