Last week was a bit disappointing in terms of its releases. Though everyone was looking forward to the many January 14th Dunks, all were unfortunately delayed here in the US. But, if no issues arise within the next few days, we’ll have a solid line-up as consolation.
Starting with Nike, the brand will be offering both inline releases and collaborations alike. The latter subset is rather light, with focus only on the two forthcoming Notre Dunk Highs, while the former is conversely extensive in number with standouts like the anticipated Dunk Low “Street Hawker,” the premium Air Max 1 LV8 “Obsidian,” and the inaugural colorway of the PG 5.
Elsewhere, Jordan Brand will be bringing out a few notables of their own. In terms of their Spring 2021 line-up, the women’s Air Jordan 4 “Starfish” will be making its debut, dropping this Friday at its $200 USD price tag. Then, following a simple but clean Delta Mid, we’ll also be seeing the Chinese New Year Air Jordan 5 in its all its wearaway glory.
adidas, after dropping their neon-accented Energy Boost, will also have their Forum Hi ’84 make an appearance tomorrow, January 19th. In a vein distinct from its previous collaborations, the upper is being treated to a full, seemingly hand-done indigo dye, making the colorway arguably one of the most interesting yet. Over at adidas Yeezy, the neighbors are busy with the Yeezy Boost 700 whose new, more affordable $240 USD price tag is sure to make the new “Sun” colorway a well-received hit.
