Action Bronson Confirms The Release Of Second New Balance 990v6 “Lapis Lazuli” Collaboration

While the sixth installment in New Balance’s 99x series still resides in its infancy, rapper and frequent collaborator Action Bronson has been quick to establish his imprint atop the 990v6. Following a look at his first effort via the AEW ring, Bronson recently took to Instagram to share a preview of his second “Baklava” collection with the Boston-based brand.

Assimilating its typical mix of perforated pig suede panels atop a breathable mesh upper, a first look at the pair reveals the silhouette’s infusion of a mix of hues from the blue sector of the color wheel while coming accented via a dressing of vibrant neutrals. Contrasting its dark navy base with cobalt-shaded overlays, a denim-colored treatment is applied to the mudguard before the split sole unit indulges in an opposing mix of buttercream and sky blue. Similar to the tincture of his first ensemble, a golden brown finish coats the laces in tandem with the tread underfoot.
