The first full week of March has come and gone, and so have handfuls of sneaker releases. The last seven days, however, have confirmed upcoming drops that’ll surely have countless sneaker fans saving up more money than they originally anticipated.
All eyes have been on the Air Jordan 3 “White Cement Reimagined,” which officially releases for the whole family tomorrow, March 11. Yet, the “Neo-vintage” retro isn’t the Jumpman family’s only highly-anticipate shoe of the month. Michael Jordan’s eponymous label is delivering a Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 collaboration between March 17 and March 21. The sneaker had long-been rumored, but official photos of the pair only recently surfaced, confirming the “Pine Green” offering.
On the Three Stripes side of things, adidas CEO Bjørn Gulden shared some unfavorable news with investors during an earnings call on Wednesday: the operating loss for 2023 is expected to total over $700 million, which includes $500 million worth of unsold YEEZY inventory. Rumors throughout February claimed that the German brand had penned a deal with Kanye West to sell remaining adidas YEEZY product, but Gulden didn’t confirm anything on Wednesday. He did, however, tell reporters that Ye is “one of the most creative people that have ever been on the planet.”
