Our sneaker freak brethren from Australia recently congregated at the Bleeding Heart Gallery for the Swap & Cop 2010 Event over the weekend to buy, sell, and trade some goodies in the form of footwear, gear, and art. Tables overflowing with Nike, New Balance, adidas, and Reebok heat were on hand for viewing pleasure, but a few neat-o features pushed Swap & Cop 2010 over the top as the best sneaker convention/summit in the continent’s history. Held at the event was the conclusion of the New Balance ‘Design a 574 Competition’, in which the Top 10 submissions were chosen by the Head of New Balance Lifestyle Australia and the crew at Project 4000, and a special ‘If the Shoe fits’ giveaway by adidas. Sneaker Freaker’s 19th Issue also made its debut as did a number of new footwear labels. There’s a lot more to see so check out the this Event Recap of Swap & Cop 2010 and let us know what catches you eye!
