The end of the summer not only saw Damian Lillard transition from Portland to Milwaukee, but also the expansion of his signature line into an affordable vein of footwear. Built with an insatiable durability, the adidas Dame 8 EXTPLY (Extended Play) has become the latest go-to silhouette for the seven-time All-Star.
 
Set atop a Bounce Pro midsole, the upper’s forefoot strap bears only the beginnings of the model’s security on-foot as an internal sock construction and a TPU propulsion plate remain hidden within. As the high school and collegiate season nears, the latest in Lillard’s roster of shoes boasts all the necessary toolings and components for those with an unyielding passion for working on their game. Plush textile upper, ulterior support and a range of compelling colorways has crafted another winning formula for Lillard’s signature line.

Debuted in 1997, the adidas Crazy 8 received a ceremonial retro return in tandem with the 3-Stripes Remember Your Why campaign this Summer. Sporting classic compositions and contemporary reimaginings, the high-top trim echoes the aesthetics of decades past with a near-exact reissue of the Feet You Wear accompanied model.
 
Even after a name change in 2002, the original signature’s archival resurgence has maintained the allure surrounding its high-contrast leather paneling. Updated with an EVA midsole for day-long comfort, the model’s recent neutral-based applications attract a willing potential for off-court outfits.

Sewn directly from the hardwood, the adidas Centennial 85 exudes an unfailing appeal a little under four decades since its inception. Smooth leather coupled with suede accents and a serrated toe box reflect the blending of a suave style and revamped technology that ran rife amidst the mid 80s.
 
For the 001 series, modernized color blockings may have ascertained the low-top trim as of late, yet the decades-old icon continues to install a bit of vintage flair with purposely aged elements and staple trefoil branding. Timeless by nature, this classic isn’t going anywhere.
