Ten Can’t Miss Sneaker News Headlines from December 5th to December 11th

Though the year may be winding down to a close, the sneaker releases certainly haven’t. From Jordan Brand to New Balance, the week was filled with some exciting news, including word of upcoming drops for later this month as well as some relatively far off 2021 standouts.

First up, Jordan really hit the ground running starting this past weekend. CLOT’s latest collaboration, the Air Jordan 14 Low, was revealed for the very first time, as was Chris Paul’s Jordan CP3.XIII and the WMNS Air Jordan 6 Barely Rose. What’s more, we were greeted with official images for the previously teased Air Jordan 1 High Switch, the Jumpman’s first transforming sneaker, as well as the Titan 22 Air Jordan 23. The brand’s Swoosh-marked counterpart also couldn’t avoid the headlines, though they kept it relatively light, teasing their “Better is Temporary” publication and the Undefeated Air Max 97.

adidas, ASICS, and New Balance saved some big news for December as well. Before releasing his third “Man on the Moon” album, Kid Cudi revealed his partnership with the Three Stripes, a silhouette that celebrates the artist’s daughter. The Japanese footwear brand then brought out their own collabs — the Awake GEL-Preleus and the Extra Butter GEL-Kayano 5 — while New Balance linked up with Randomevent for a special 2002R.
