DJ Khaled’s Iconic Sneaker Closet Is Now On Airbnb

Disc Jockey. Record executive. Anthem producer. Franchisee. Entrepreneur. DJ Khaled has held all of these titles over the last 30 years, and will soon add another one to the list: Airbnb Host.
 
To celebrate the release of his Air Jordan 5 “We The Best” collaboration, the self-proclaimed “sneakerhead from birth” is inviting you and a guest to spend the night at a recreation of his legendary sneaker closet, bookable only via Airbnb.
 

The once-in-lifetime opportunity will take place in Miami, the city DJ Khaled has called “home” since the early 1990s, at an independently owned and operated home listing. Guests will stay at the illustrious pad on either December 5th or 6th for the price of just $11 per guest — a nod to the GRAMMY nominee’s shoe size. In addition to sleeping amongst hundreds of pairs from DJ Khaled’s personal sneaker collection (currently sitting at over 10,000 sneakers), guests can have their own photo shoot on a golden throne in the patio; enjoy a dip in the pool; and sit under palm trees in the backyard to soak in the sounds, smells and vibes Miami has to offer — just like “the father of Asahd” does.

Each guest of the DJ Khaled x Airbnb experience will receive:

• A handwritten welcome note from the Airbnb Host
• A signed pair of the “We The Best” Air Jordan 5s
• A catered dinner from The Licking (Miami Gardens)
• A private shopping session at Wynwood’s 305 Kicks

 
To book, you must visit airbnb.com/wethebest beginning Tuesday, November 29th, at 1 p.m ET/10 a.m. PT and request a reservation. Guests are responsible for their own travel accommodations to and from Miami.
 
Local rules and guidelines, as well as Airbnb’s COVID-19 Safety Practices, must be followed during the stay. Staff on site at the recreation of DJ Khaled’s impressive sneaker closet will also comply with local rules and guidelines, adhering to Airbnb’s five-step enhanced cleaning process, too. (Airbnb will be monitoring Miami’s COVID-19 infection rates and government policies to ensure guests are safe. The industry-changing company will provide guests a refund of the booking fee ($11) and $1,000 in Airbnb travel credit if it deems the stay must be canceled.

That’s why we’re excited to share our sneaker kingdom with fans and give them a chance to walk in our shoes, literally.”

In addition to including fan-favorite Air Jordan styles, the sneaker closet hosted by Airbnb features extremely rare pairs hand-delivered by DJ Khaled’s team. Player-Exclusive styles for the University of Oregon share a space with the “God Did” artist’s own collaborations with Jordan Brand. A special one-of-one Air Jordan 1 by The Shoe Surgeon also graces the unique Airbnb stay, making the experience truly one-of-a-kind.
