NIKE DOUBLES DOWNON DYNAMIC AIRWITH THE AIR MAX DN8

The next chapter of Nike Air technology is officially upon us. Meet the Air Max DN8; the Beaverton brand’s latest and greatest addition to the iconic running-turned-lifestyle series.

The Air Max DN8 builds on the success of last year’s Air Max Dn with – you guessed it – a total of eight Air chambers underfoot. Beyond aesthetics, the chambers vary in PSI for a responsive, comfortable ride. The center chambers come in at 5 PSI, while the front and rear sets are pumped with 15 PSI for a firm landing. The upper features wavy cutouts that blend seamlessly with the cushioning package, delivering form and function in one clean stroke.

Following the release of a “Hyper Pink” colorway worn by Victor Wembanyama in Paris and Tyla during Super Bowl Weekend, Nike is celebrating Air Max Month with a broad variety of styles for men, women, and kids. Let’s get things started with some familiar makeup. Our men’s trio is anchored by a “Triple Black” colorway that lets the new DN8 tooling speak for itself, sure to be a favorite among those who stay loyal to dark footwear. If you’re out for a bit more flair, there’s also a black and “Light Smoke Grey” colorway featuring timeless “Volt” accents underfoot. Getting even more eccentric, Nike also dropped an aquatic “Persian Violet” look that oozes 1990s nostalgia.

High-energy “Laser Fuchsia” sets the tone on our first women’s pick, balanced out by a black midsole and heel counter for contrast. We’re also drawn to black and “Wolf Grey” colorways, but compared to the men’s lineup, the two women’s styles feature a compelling, sparkly finish up top. Pure class.

New models don’t usually release in grade school sizing off the bat, but the DN8 is a welcome exception. Our kid’s selection is led by a “Team Orange” colorway reminiscent of the “Sunset” Air Max Plus, standing out with a compelling gradient upper. Black and “Hyper Royal” touch up an equally clean pair, joined by the same “Light Smoke Grey/Volt” colorway previewed for men.
