How Nike Is Further Evolving The Shopping Experience With Nike Rise Aventura, The First Of Its Kind In The U.S.

Nike’s strategy for delivering the best shopping experience is four-pronged offense that aims to touch all bases for both the local community and global audience.
 
 
Currently, Nike is offering four distinct shopping experiences in North America called House Of Innovation, Live, Unite, and Rise. The House Of Innovation (New York City and Shanghai) is a full-fledged brand experience that doubles as a high-end showroom of the brand’s infinite capabilities in product innovation. Nike Live operates as a small-format boutique with comfortable furniture and quick turnaround of local favorites. Nike Unite hones in on local community, bringing sport directly to the consumer. Nike Rise, now open for the first time in the U.S., focuses on digital integration across its products, services, and experience.

The city of Miami is home to the first-ever Nike Rise concept in the United States, with more U.S. locations confirmed to open moving forward. The aim is to create one of the most digitally advanced and connected store concepts, and that goal is immediately apparent when walking in as consumers are greeted with Sport Pulse on the City Core Atrium, a giant digital screen at the core of the space broadcasting local data of Nike members around the city. This allows the community to be reflected in the store experience. Basketball, Running, Training, and Sportswear are the key categories for Nike Rise, with all four categories thoughtfully arranged throughout the space for easy visibility and smooth transition.
 
 
Additionally, Nike Rise offers The Sports Hub for online-to-offline services that include digital returns, in-store pick-ups of online purchases, curbside pick-up for quick reception of online purchases from SNKRS Pass, Scan To Learn, and more. The dedicated Nike By You suite allows consumers to be their own designers, offering customization services of footwear and apparel using a selection of options from both the brand and local artists. The Aventura location offers the largest retail space for bras and leggings in North America.

Nike Live by Brickell, which opened August 2021, offers a more intimate, home-like experience with comfortable couches and carefully selected products. It’s a stable meeting point for community-driven meet-ups (such as the hundreds of runners that join in on Latino-led run clubs like the Baptist Health Brickell Run Club. Many of the store employees are bilingual to best serve the Miami community.
 
 
Nike has also partnered with sneaker boutique UNKNWN in the Wynwood district; in addition to finding the best Nike product, UNKNWN will also act as a meeting point for special edition releases.
 
 
As Nike continues to grow its fleet of retail locations, their community-driven strategy is a worthy answer to the growing standards in convenience and personalization. Nike Rise Aventura is now open at at Aventura Mall. Future locations of Nike Rise stores will be announced soon.
