GEAR UP FORCOLLEGE FOOTBALL SEASONWITH THE ADIDAS EVO SL EXO

College football season is nearly here, which means Saturdays are about to look a whole lot more colorful. From Tennessee Orange and Washington Purple to the unmistakable green and orange of Miami, school colors are as much a part of the college sports experience as the action on the field. adidas is getting an early start on the season by bringing all of its NCAA partners to one of the brand’s newest footwear platforms: the adidas EVO SL EXO.

Based on the lightweight, racing-inspired EVO SL, the EXO introduces a new EXOSKELETON upper fit system, adding a supportive exterior structure that gives the shoe an entirely different visual identity. Underfoot, adidas Lightstrike Pro provides lightweight cushioning and energy return, creating a versatile platform capable of handling everything from a morning run and daily commute to a full Saturday of college football.

For the NCAA collection, adidas uses that exoskeletal construction as the canvas for these unmistakable school identities. Tennessee, Washington, Miami, Kansas, Grambling State, Arizona State, Indiana, Louisville, Penn State, NC State, Nebraska, Mississippi State, Texas Tech, and Texas A&M each receive their own colorway, complete with school logos on the heel and insole and university-specific lettering running down the tongue.

Whether you’re an alum, a lifelong fan, or simply looking to add some collegiate flavor to the rotation, here’s how all schools are represented.

Rocky Top gets an EVO SL EXO to match. Tennessee’s edition starts with a crisp white foundation and metallic silver EXOSKELETON overlay, allowing the Volunteers’ unmistakable orange to take center stage across the oversized Three Stripes and school-specific branding.

Washington brings one of college sports’ most recognizable combinations to the EVO SL EXO. A clean white base sets the stage for a metallic gold exterior structure, while rich purple Three Stripes complete a colorway made unmistakably for Husky territory.

Few schools own their colors quite like The U. Miami’s EVO SL EXO pairs its white foundation with a green EXOSKELETON overlay and bright orange Three Stripes, bringing the Hurricanes’ signature palette from Coral Gables to adidas’ modern running-inspired silhouette.

Kansas takes a cleaner approach to its EVO SL EXO, combining a white base with a subtle light grey exterior overlay. Bold blue Three Stripes provide the primary dose of Jayhawks identity, complemented by the school-specific branding found throughout the shoe.

Grambling State rounds out the collection with one of the lineup’s strongest contrasts. A yellow EXOSKELETON structure pops against the white foundation, while black Three Stripes complete a look rooted in the Tigers’ signature colors and proud visual identity.
