One week ahead of Halloween, most of the sneakers that have been revealed this week have steered away from signature oranges, purples and spooky graphics. Yet, all of them have been treats.
NIKE, Inc. unofficially and officially revealed a number of special propositions: LeBron James‘ eighth and 18th signature sneakers formed the “Beijing” Pack, a limited-to-600-pairs-release exclusive to China. (It’s the first time the LeBron 8 retros.) Another Air Max 97 by UNDFTD emerged, this time in “Militia Green” and orange. And Travis Scott took the Instagram to reveal a collaborative Dunk Low with Playstation.
Elsewhere, the Air Jordan 1 continued its reign as “Retro of the Year” via several High and Mid iterations, the former boasting Zoom Air, Crater Foam and CMFT (“comfort”) modifications. The Nike Air Max line also welcomed a new member: the Air Max Zephyr.
Away from the Beaverton, Oregon-based behemoth, adidas, New Balance and Vans shared looks at some of their lineup for fall. Beyoncé’s IVY PARK label revealed an official look at its next capsule, which includes the beloved Nite Jogger. Boston’s New Balance tapped friends across the world to breath new life into silhouettes like the New Balance 327. And the California staple continued its run of collaborations with the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), Dime and NOTRE.
For all that and more, check out our top fifteen headlines from October 17th to October 23rd here ahead.
